you had the cutest cheeks ever *squishes them*
I remember closing a closet door over my foot at 15 months and pretty much everything else after that. My psych teachers told me its impossible but I don't just remember the events, I can recall snippets of conversations and most of my thought processes leading up events...
I remember being 2, an early fall day, and sitting under an evergreen tree next to a meadow with my grandma, eating peanutbutter cookies with fresh berries from a bush mashed on them while she told me stories about fairies in Wales.

Didn't I? I've discovered that my big cheeks are still there... but less prominent as an adult. I've been going through a lot of old photos, trying to put together a keepsake thing for my mother's room, so she can look at my brother and I as we grew up.
Scientists and doctors have discovered now that children can start remembering things as early as 18 months, so it's not impossible!

That's a great picture. I love it.
Most of my memories of early childhood have some sort of drama involved. Riding a trike down the stairs, for instance, I remember clear as day. Also, getting wayy dressed up in Easter gear- white lacey dress, gloves, hat, tiny little purse, etc.- and then not being able to resist the mud puddle outside. Haha, ohh, my mom was mad!
Other than those types of events, I only remember snippets of things. Sitting outside with my Grandma. Blowing across the tops of glass soda bottles to hear that fabulous noise they make. I remember that I had a Fred Flinstone baby bottle that I drank Pepsi from.
I'm sorry I can't tell you anything about the car. If Brad shows up around here anytime soon, I'll have him look and see if he can tell what it is.

I, too, drove a trike down a long flight of stairs and got two black eyes from the fall. You can just imagine what my mother went through when we went to the ER... every eye accused her of abuse. Poor Mom!
Not a problem. I've asked a few others around. I'm sure it'll come up!

Yep! It's the cheeks! My chubby Menominee cheeks! I'm gearing up, looking through old photos to see which ones I can re-create -- expect more soon...
oh you are adorable!! I will have to look for pictures of me when I was that young. I love older pictures of when we were younger.
