1 - yep, and not just ourselves either
2 - the spirit of it I guess Freedom should never be threatened though... (I guess we're never free from the effects of what we do, but that is our choice)

4 - To some extent... we do have to figure things out for ourselves, but I think we can learn from others
5 - With some things true, we're a part of life though - for ourselves and everyone else, so dealing with the human mind itself is complicated
6 - Very true, I think the mind is almost designed to wonder and experiment, so that it experiences all, it builds feelings around the unknown and struggles to be satisfied/secure when there's still things it hasn't done. On the other extreeme, the unknown can be threatening when you are happy with what you've got
