I guess by now you've all heard about the bombing in London. Luckily for me, I'm far away from London, but still there's now bomb scares all over the country, one of them in Sheffield which is the nearest city to me. Big steel city, so it's always been a major potential target. Who knows what might happen. It sucks. Thirty two dead up to now; and of course there's going to be a lot more. The police have said that they think this isn't the end of it.. of course. It's been said they haven't aimed to kill many people - they just want to shut down the entire public transport network. But if they're doing this, then why? There's obviously a reason they don't want people to be able to get around.. so they can go and do something worse. Al Qaida have apparently already owned up to it... I don't know.

This all sounds strangely familiar....September 11, 2001.  Need I say more.  I know it's scary, but hang in there.  Keep your loved ones close by, and just hang tight.  My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Hi

Happy to hear that you and your family werent close by and are ok. It's a scary world, especially when you're raising children. I live in NYC and the terrorist attack here was very scary. We were paralyzed with fear. I dont want to raise my daughter here, I really want to move some place safer...I wonder if that exists. Stay safe.

Take Care

I like in England near to Sheffield too.
And the London bombing luckily is far away from us. =/. It's terrible what's happened.

It's hard to tell if the al-Qaida have actually done it... They jump up at the first sign of anything terrorism related and try to take the blame...

I believe it was just another attack- I don't think they had a reason or a goal to achieve.

Hopefully not anyway.

I just hope they don't do anything to Sheffield. =/.

-Kthnx.
