Having just completed back to back weekends of weddings, I have love on the brain. On the weekend of the 26th, I went to my cousins wedding in Maryland. It was a nice Iranian ceremony (too soon New York?). The reception was held in a mansion. The food was great and the whole affair was fantastic. I missed a good amount of the NFL draft to attend. Those of you who know me know that that is a huge sacrifice in and of its self. This weekend I attended my best friends wedding. Not the Julia Roberts movie. My friend Mario had his wedding yesterday. I was the best man, which is a title that I feel suits me well. It was sort of strange to be attending his wedding. He has been my closest friend for almost 8 years and standing next to him while he got married put things into perspective. We've both changed a lot since we first became friends. While things may change in our lives, I realized that we'll always be there for one another no matter what. I was honored to stand by him on one of the most important days of his life. I hope our friendship continues during the years and changes to come.
