What says you, Freebird?

Does the world become unencumbered as you shed away the past and look to the future?

What sings you, Songbird?

Do you sing only about regrets or just the moments that make you fly?

How do you know it’s true, LoveBird?

Taking many into your heart you soar into love quickly, and do you  force true love in return?

When are you, EarlyBird?

Time places too much emphasis on your day and are you too busy to be spontaneous?

Where are you going, LittleBird?

Once you leave here, will you leave a trail for us to remember you by?

An elongated, conscientious sound of fury

It was sensible to talk, she thought but it wouldn't stop

"Can't you stop that? Do you have to do that everytime we speak?"

Guaranteed silence

A bluebird cracked a nut on the ground dismissing the argument before her.

It was clear the yard hadn't been cleared since the fall before.

They continued to be apart by hundreds of miles and the distance was growing.

"I have to go" she muttered

and she waited for a response…

Beautiful, Scott! But may I suggest that you look at the line that says "emphasize"; do you think it would look better replaced with "emphasis"?

I love your writing; I am in a slump again; happens when I get depressed.

Thank you, Scott.  I am okay as long as I don't have to do anything to do with the online business. I freeze just to think about it.  I thought I was all better, and quit therapy, but I guess I should go on with it, or maybe get more meds.  I just can't seem to face responsibilities or anything that makes me feel pressured.  I know it is very very wimpish, but I can't help it.

But I am on my way to see my kids in Kentucky tomorrow, and will not have to think about anything else till next week when I get home.

Keep on writing; I love your work.
