i wasn't very happy with the past 2 photos and 'poems'.  sometimes, as i'm doing now, i am up at 6 getting ready for work and that's the only time i have to post.  so, there are times when i'm just not at my best.
or even at my meh-est.  and yesterday's poem just wasn't ready for primetime or even cable access.
but i'll post anyway.  crappy, sappy (i was called that yesterday.  lol) but the posts are there.  to be criticized.
to be praised.
As bad as my poems are...there is a shot of redemption for them.  Check out this article. There's redemption yet!

i wasn't sure how my fire/relationship post would go down.  more than surprised by the support it got.  and the votes it got.
and while i'm not ususally a vote-hound, i am very happy that it did get enough attention that a lot of new viewers read the post.

quick thoughts:
I was asked why i haven't been doing my analysis on the political-current events scene.  Well to that i reply that nothing is really going on.  Also I lost my usual sparring partner.
I will have more on my decision to vote BO or JM.  There's a lot to be said on that subject.

My brain aches from the number of dead in Myanmar from mother nature.  The latest guesstimate is 200,000.
Throw in the 50,000 dead in China from the earthquake and that closing in on the same number killed from the 2005 Boxing Day Tsunami.  Of course the media has ignored it.  Probably because the middle of China and the Junta Ruled Myanmar aren't really accessible.  I guess the rest of the world doesn't really care.  Though plently of people are trying to profit off this for their various causes.  Disgusting.
But to know so many people just ceased to exist so quickly...

dunno...liked the way this lighting system looked in front of the coming evening...

My husband and I were discussing the tragedies in Myanmar and ChinaMy husband commented that 200,000 is the population of a good sized town.  Horrible!

I really like the vignette border you have on all your photos. The picture with the lights facing away makes me think it could be a book cover or transformed into a painting. Keep up the good work, Toot.
