I like Flogging Molly!!! I have their first CD. I listen to it (and other Irish Drinking Songs) around St. Patrick's Day.
Well I have all their CD's now. Well all the tracks on the cds..since I really don't own the physical copies...
Yeah man, they are totally something to listen to around Saint Patties day. But I love 'em at other times, too.
What I really like is the use of traditional instruments in a nontraditional style. I wish more people would do that and not pigeon hole certain instruments to certain types of music.
As for me, I want to learn to play the banjo.

I listen to them, and this CD of a compilation of Irish Drinking songs (with them in it). Though I don't drink, it's nice to reminisce on my drinking days.
I occasionally will knock one or two back. My "drinking days" were for about six months in college, heh. Last time I really drank any thing was when I bought a 4 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade in 2006.
....
Man I could go for something Ice cold right now....

I've been thinking about drinking lately. It's been hot out there.... and I haven't had any alcohol in a long while.
yeah I was thinking of making some cocktails after watching the cocktail making episode of Good Eats.
you know the host, Alton Brown, is a pretty solid Christian? I was reading his bio the other day. I thought that was cool since I really like that show...
You know..be catching it on at like 3 am every night..heh.
This as usual is wy I stay at mindsay (besides the free advise, huggs and kick in the butt) I am going to look into this over the weekend. I get a lot of my music from limewire, but its hard to get all that upoaded into itunes for my ipod
Yeah I got a deal at emusic, I think they are running a new member deal where you get 50 more tracks when you join.
Still not a bad deal.

I was actually surprised they had all the albums on there, since Emusic tends to focus on smaller groups.
Then again, I guess Flogging Molly isn't that well known
Whatever that means anymore...

Whatever that means anymore...heh well I mean you don't see them with the national exposure as, say, madonna or ms.spears..not that Icare...not in to either of those..singers...
I don't know this group, but will have to look them up to see where your tastes take you...even if it is around St Paddie's day!
Glad you are having fun and spending a bit of money (wisely this time) on your own enjoyment!

heh yah. It's a good deal. Emusic has a wide selection of tracks, including a lot of Christian music. You can listen to them all before you purchase just to make sure you like 'em.
I have a very eclectic taste in music.

Well not everything I listen to would be considered "Christian" heh. I think flogging molly fits into that spot

OH, I know! That is why I said that the Christian you DID choose was enjoyable. I like other music as well, but have just not heard of Molly ..yet!
