Well, you have been absent for periods of time.....tell us, Tess.  Do you miss it?  Does it only last for a week?  Inquiring minds need to know!  Does the longing for Mindsay linger for a lasting time?  *grins*  I don't even know what this Mindsay Reunion Tour is - it sounds like something that requires loud music and funky t-shirts with lots of alcohol consumed - but I don't know if it's something that's going to get people to come back and stay for a long time.  Some people actually left because they have real lives that were more important.

Honestly, I don't really care why people leave or come back.   There were times when I was chided for blogging so much so I backed off and backed off some more.  When friends stopped coming by even when I did blog, I backed off some more, and so on and so on.   People blog for different reason, and all of them are personal reasons. 

As for me, yes I did miss it but my absence was due to very personal reasons.   I love seeing some of the people who left for their own reasons and they'll most likely leave again.   That is their choice.   Off to greener pastures and living their lives.   Blogs are what they are.   I have no beef with the "Reunion", however, too bad it's just for a week.

Ah, if it was longer people would taper off and disappear before the thing even ended.

I understand your absence, I think you know that.  Maybe this is wrong to say, but there are some people who - whether they are here or have left - seemed to thrive on telling other people how to blog, when to blog, what to blog about, etc. and those people are the kinds of people I wouldn't want to see come back.  There are so many different personalities on here and it's great to see a lot of friendly faces on here again - and I hope it lasts longer than a week, but I just don't think it's going to.  Like you said, "off to greener pastures and living their lives.  Blogs are what they are."

but during that week, we'll see some good folks and remember some good times and smile...and that's worth something, innit?

When you left, there was a huge void here.  If you were coming back for only a week, it would leave a huge void once again, but it would be very good to see you here, if only for one week.   It's just kinda of sad to see people breeze in and out.   But hey, it is what it is, right?
