Today's Message of the Day is:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile and maybe you will never have to say....

Sometimes I Wish....

So I am told!

Ahh, but I am told you're to young for kissing yet!

I guess this from your picture...

LOL

Sometimes I wish I could go back to that first kiss!

Re: Sometimes I wish....
I remember a lot about kissing...Kissing stays in your mind...especially when you're too young to be doing it.
sigh..Do you remember when the kiss was "the prize"?

That first kiss??
mine was.......confusing and surprising..
I was 6 years old..can't get much younger than that.
In first grade..I was busy....taking off my mittens, scarf, boots and coat in the vestibule, trying to hurry before the bell rang..It was a cold blustery prairie winter day..
Martin came up to me and planted a big one right on my lips.
in the vestibule, while I was trying to get undressed..

How did that kid get so lucky?

The only kisses I got at six was grandma and aunts....

YUCK.....

Re: Sometimes I wish....
Luck had nothing to do with it! He was bold..and took control!

well...It surprised me! Here I was, a young little innocent girl trying to get into her seat before the school bell rang and I get kissed...I was busy living my little life and I get kissed..lol
I remember that because of the harsh winters, the teachers would wrap my head with my scarf and make sure my mittens were on before sending me home for lunch...I walked home for lunch in 40 below weather every day.

Shortly thereafter, as the boys became my friends and wanted to walk me home and play catch, the girls began to shun me and not allow me to play...pretty much...I started to wonder why I was getting male attention...truly.

Ha....I do remember two or three boys who made a big fuss over me..while in grade school and I remember being cut off by the girls..by the clique because of it..
Funny the things we remember..
Grandma and Aunts..Yuck???? lol
I know...
Did they make you sing songs and then kiss you???
They did that to me..
I was shy...I looked at all those faces looking back at me and I froze...
not any more.
I like audiences now...
(smiles)
I had no idea why.

Re: Sometimes I wish....
Are you always going to be reading my life ???!!!!  You always seem to show up on shore with a life raft just when I'm going down for the third time.

OK, you know what Native American wisdom says about our situation, don't you???  You save me, you own me!!!

Who saved whom???

A seventeen year old, who doesn't want to go on an adventure....

Who needed saving here????

LOL

Sometimes I wish can be a horrible way to start a sentence. It is good. Voted.

Re: Sometimes I wish....
Sometimes I wish we could surround ourselves with people (like you) who make us feel good about ourselves and think about the important things in life.  It helps us to forget about the things that burden our hearts that don't really matter so much.

*sometimes, I also wish I would have known you for much longer*

Never to late or to early to start a friendship!
