Good for you.  Ebay.  I want to learn to sell on Ebay.

My friend used to sell on ebay.  She used to sell items from  her home, like a flea market or garage sale.  She would make several hundred dollars a month.  What exactly did she sell?  She would tell her husband (who collected moives) that anything that she found with dust on it , would go on ebay.  She sold his movies (VHS and DVD), books, her son's clothing (that he outgrew) and toys he had lost interest in.  It was lucrative for her as a part time income.  Now, my sisters boss (he's a lawyer), his wife is a bargain hunter and is always on the look out for sales on Prada, Versace, etc.  She buys things on clearance and then sells them for a profit on ebay.  He tells my sister that she does this and makes a few thousand dollars a month.  (Well, excuse us?!)  His sister also does this and makes a few thousand a month.  Well, if you figure out how much a full time job brings home at a moderate $11.50 an hr, 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, you get.....$1840.00 a month.  From that you need to subtract gas, child care, lunch, and apparel you need to purchase that is appropriate for your job.  Trust me, the ebay route is much better! 

Absolutely.  I know I could make money -- I just have to figure it out and do it.  I've read so many accounts of people making lots of money -- even quitting their full time jobs!

just watch out for the IRS cuz they have now decided to crack down on ebayers.

I so very love eBay.  I bought my wedding dress on eBay from a jaded bride for $50.00.

 

As for the bill collectors...you have the right to tell them to stop calling you. You can explain that you are aware of the debt, however you need to make arrangements before you can do anything.  You should only have to tell them once.  If not, next time one calls, ask to speak with a supervisor (I used to be in collections for Wells Fargo).

 

I am determined to change my organization, or lack thereof.  I am very organized at work and with juggling my hobbies, but at home?  Ugh.  My house has certainly seen better days!

Keep the faith, dear supermom. I'm sorry for your tummy aches. I get them when I'm stressed, too, but only you know if you should see a doc for that. I know, it means money to go to the doctor. I know. Catch 22. But you are worth it. I repeat, you are worth it. I will keep you in my prayers, along with my other mindsay friends who are also struggling at this time of year. Thanks for the prayers.  Prayers are priceless and can do so much more than anything else. 

   I got yelled at by my sisters and Mom.  They want me to see a doc and I will...next week.  The kids were off from school and it would have been difiicult with the baby.  My tribe wouldn't have fit in the waiting room.
