Self-promo and FREEBIES!

Okay, so this isn't really Reunion Tour content, but I've got friends here who I really want to give some free stuff to!

There can't be too many web surfers out there that are more impatient than I am. If I go to a web page and have to spend what I perceive to be an inordinate amount of time waiting, or navigating to get where I want to go, I'm moving on.

That said, no one would make a much better market tester for determining whether or not my website is user friendly, other than yours truly. I wanted to provide a download page where visitors could download a free wallpaper image, for either a standard size display or a widescreen display, with the mere click of a mouse. Until I could get around to figuring out how to do that, I had a download page with instructions to fill out a contact form so that I could email the image. NOT good. If I had been a visitor, that's one of those aggravating complications I just simply would not have bothered with.

Well, guess what peeps?! My FREEBIES download page is now in place and fully functioning! Each month I will offer a new wallpaper image download at no charge. I figure it's a good way to get more exposure for my work and attract new visitors. But honestly, my main motive is just to share the images that make me feel all warm and fuzzy with others who are warm and fuzzied by similar things. The best thing is that all you need to do is right-click the link provided on the FREEBIES page. I provide 2 sizes: one at a standard display size of 1600x1200 pixels, and one for widescreen displays at 1920x1200.

It's easy, it's FREE, and before you have a chance to get bored with one image, I'll be offering a new one every month! Enjoy!
