I love Melissa, and we both fear controversy. Her parents love me as a person, but fear the controversy and issues of us dating as well due to their upbringing.

I love the idea of becoming a chef with my own restaurant, but I'm also afraid of it.

I love Ryan, but I'm scared of what he's doing to us, and what may happen to me if we get back together, or even if I continue to let myself be hurt by the things he does. I hate that I've put myself into such a self-compromising situation, so I guess, to completely make your question boggled, you can love what you fear, but at the same time hate the situation.
