Got up at 730 this morning, and got ready to go out to the Erie county fair / America's fair. We got there at just after 9 am.
Dodging the mud puddles and rain , we made our way to the "budweiser garden" and got our wristbands. This guaranteed us that we would get one autograph per person. After getting the wristbands, we went to the Agra center, and got out of the rain. Then it was around the fair till around 11. When it was over to wait in line for Kasey Kane to arrive and begin the signing session.
We waited in line about an hour, before finally getting his autograph , and being close enough to take pictures of him. I am now the proud owner of a 1:24 scale COT diecast 2008 budweiser sprint cup car, autographed on the hood by Kasey Kane. YAY!
After the signing session, it was time to eat. I got a couple London broils with cheese. Then it was more looking around the fair. There's this couple there, with a booth / tent , and they have a bin set up, with a bunch of rocks / gems in it. You look though it and if you find a gem you like, the guy puts a piece of sterling wire though a hole that is the piece, and makes a bail. Its very cool. You should check it out if you go. They are located in a the craft village. They also have a website: www.thewirejewelrystore.com
We also saw the new event there called the banana derby. Umm, words can't desribe it. Its super weird. Monkey's ride dogs !? Yay, sadly I'm serious.
This was my third trip to the fair so far this year, and I'm sure to go back a few more times, as this is the second day of my vacation. Yippy!
I arrived back home just after 530 pm.
The rest of the night, now that I am home. Thank god I didn't get stuck in the mud. lol I think its time to relax, watch the Olympics on TV, the wwe , and then more Olympics. lol I'll also probably be online for a while.
Anyway, needless to say, I've had a great day so far.
