Don't even want to comment on the boyfriend situation. That's a story all on its own. So anyways...
There I was at the beginning of the semester thinking I was going to need some sort of back up plan incase nursing wasn't happening for me. I figured I might as well just get a bachelor's in health sciences. So, I planned my semester accordingly seeing as my nursing pre-req's were already taken care of. I had an emppty slot in my schedule and was in need of a G Dec. I chose some random Judaism class.
How bad could it be? Really? I mean, I'm Catholic, but growing up, all my friends were Jewish. I figured I'd have some sort of background. I figured wrong. Apparently, Jews are subjected to horrible readings and Torah stuff. It's miserable really. Oh gosh all the rules and shit. I can't take it.
I'm in the middle of this one book now. It's not as bad as some of the other ones I've read so far (The Mishna was just about the worst thing ever). It's called Zohar: The Book of Splendor. I can't seem to find the splendor and all I can think about is Don't Mess With the Zohan. It's proving distracting.
This book is just some readings from the Kabbalah. It's not too fun. Not at all.
