Wish me luck!  I was sooo hungry but didn't want to cook a damn thing.  It just seemed like way too much effort to make something that would prolly make me feel ill anyway.  I decided it was easier to go to the store and buy sandwich fixins and hope for the best.

I've been a label reader for quite awhile, but it's taken a whole new level of obsession now.  You wouldn't believe how much fat is in stuff.  And what's with iceburg lettuce nowadays?  It used to be green on the outside.

So, after a turkey sandwich with some baked Doritos, I'm hoping my symptoms aren't going to rage again.

An arguement this afternoon with hubby is still preying on my mind.  It upset me quite a bit and I'm sure that's not helping my awareness of my symptoms.  Stress will make you feel worse because you're more aware of what you're feeling.  This is getting so very old.  I'm sure the meds worked faster last time.

Re: X your fingers for me
Peppermint tea without lemon really helps to sooth reflux. I drink daily and it controls mine now without medication. Of course I make better food choices but peppermint tea really is great for this. and my fingers are crossed for you

Re: X your fingers for me
I know my sister really swore by mint tea, but any kind of mint (even mint chocolate and ice cream when I'm asymptomatic) make my reflux way worse.  It's on the list of things I have to stay away from.   Apparently it relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter in some people.  I'm a freak!
