I decided it was time to get the furkids groomed.  My sister left me a set of clippers that need repairing, but I just can't deal with trying to groom two very active fuzz-faces.  I dropped them off at 10 and warned the lady that my Little Blonde is quite a PITA.  She put "screamer" on her card!  LOL!  Apparently she was a good girl and didn't make noise until they pulled her ear hairs.  I can't fault her for that.  I doubt I'd like it very much... if I had ear hair.

No visit to the gym on Wed because there were 3 million cars in the parking lot.  The gym is in a strip mall sort of shopping center and parking is limited anyway.  I had no idea the place would be packed at 7PM.  So, I got in 30 min of cardio treadmill work done.  I had thought to go in tomorrow and get some more treadmill time, but after the pains of this evening, I'm having second thoughts.

I wandered over to Staples to see if they had any decent shredders.  They did, but the larger ones were quite expensive.  As in well over $100.  Eep!

Costco was my next hope for a shredder.  I got the same model as the last one.  Maybe I shouldn't since the old one kinda died.  It doesn't want to shred because it thinks the drawer isn't in.  I couldn't wait any longer.  I have tons and tons of statements and bills that need to be disposed of.  I had Costco pizza for lunch with some non-fat frozen yogurt.  It was so nice to get to eat pizza again.  I dearly love pizza and have missed it over these weeks of yuckness.

Off to the salon to get a manicure/pedicure.  The little Asian lady did a nice job..  It's a shame I messed my fingernails up when I got home.  But it was nice to have some pampering after all this stress, trauma and worry about what's up with my innerds. My hands are painted in a bright fuschia.  My toes are a bright red with little flowers leaves and vines.

It was finally time to pick up the kids and they looked pretty glad to see me.  Little faces staring intentely at me from a wire cage across the room.  They look much better and smell nice, too!  I had no idea people take their dogs in every two weeks to get groomed.  Wow!  That would get expensive.  Once every other month seems fine to me.  I can bathe them and brush them, but the clipping, trimming and such are just too much.

While on the way home from the groomers, I started getting some pretty bad pains in my mid-right abdomen.  By the time I got home and got the kids out of their travel kennel, the pains were coming swift and getting worse.  It got to the point where I couldn't stand up, couldn't lie down and could sit sit kinda hunched over.  No deep breaths, no talking, just grunts here and there.  At one point I nearly called my Dr, but since it was after 5, I figured he'd tell me to go to Urgent Care or something (it's in my head, remember?).  The pains were getting my anxiety to ramp up, so I took a klonopin and it knocked me out.  A couple of hours later and I was feeling much better.  Still a bit crampy, but at least I can sit straight again.  Unfortunately, I screwed up my nail polish but getting it mashed into my hair somehow.  Oh well, it prolly won't last long, anyway.

Yeah!  Here I was thinking 7PM would be a relatively empty time at the gym.  Nope.  If the parking lot was that full, what would it have been like inside?  I would have stood in line forever for a machine.  Nevermind!

How are you my dear?

What kind of furkids do you have? I get my babies groomed about every other month as well and usually less in the winter.
