honey, it's cold in bama too...of course, we had temps in the 70's this weekend, so we're all rather shellshocked at the rapid drop in temp...it's going to be in the low 20's tonight. boo for the filling but yay for the raise!!!!! you sound some perkier than you have recently. i'm glad to see it....
doesn't this cold weather make you wanna burrow?
I was up most of the night Sat (couldn't sleep and reading a great story) and the temps posted for our little town were around 4-7F overnight. That's just too damn cold for us!
I think my hormones are in a knot. Maybe that's making me sleepy.....

Do you actually have time for recreational reading??? My mind is boggled, indeed. Vastly.
Anyway, the site I mostly read on is at HG It does require you register in order to read the stories. Fan fiction (of the Pride and Prejudice sort) has been my vice for the last year. The story is here. In your copious spare time when you're not being a plant lady, critter sitter, student and hard working employee and, above all, Mom and Daughter..... Have a look.
The author(ess) of the above linked story has her own site here.

The author(ess) of the above linked story has her own site here. i used to read daily and every night before i went to bed. i have a stack of six books on my night table, right now, just waiting for me. i've learned to carry a book in my purse or knapsack, for those moments of downtime i might get at drive-thrus, stop lights, doctor's offices, etc. i miss it.
The freaky weather is no fun especially for fruit. We lost all our Bananas (and they don't allow imports) to a Cyclone, all our apricots and most of our grapes to frost and now everythings on fire.
Have a rest, you probably need it. . .a little hibernation is always nice.

We'll probably be on fire next fall. That's usually how it goes.
I'd be more sad about no bananas than citrus. I'm tired of it being THIS cold.
Mmmmm... Hibernation. Sounds grand!
