You'd think this would be about her, but actually breathing around her is perhaps the easiest thing to do because there is nothing I want to do but stay alive and with her. Therefore, breathing is very easy around the girl that makes my heart pump most.

It is terribly difficult to breathe with jets of water shooting up at you from all sides and falling back down over your head. I'm not claustrophobic. I have no irrational fears at all. I'm even a fair swimmer for an out-of-shape smoker, but I think there is something about being above, below, and surrounded by water yet being around air. It's like a fit of inertia or any right sort of disorientation. It shouldn't be possible to be around so many dimensions of water and still be able to breathe.
