Thanks -- Already a step ahead of you there - considering my cel phone provider will charge me 20 cents a minute from within Canada to call the States -- and that's AFTER paying them a premium of $2.99 for the luxury of the lower rate!

Hopefully the hotel Wi-FI won't block Skype...

When I was a teacher I took my kids to the Dallas Holocaust Memorial Museum and they listened to a survivor speak. I had all of them write thank you notes to the speaker and I had them put the Jewish date on their letters because it was close to Rosh Hashanah (I looked the date up on the internet). They were like, how can it be 5762 when it's really 2003??? They just didn't get it. I tried to explain why the A.D. calendar wasn't applicable to devout Jews and they just started at me like I had two heads. Kids. Pshaw.
