High school was 'not fun for me. it was more like a 'bad dream!' It was the 'social anxiety' that made it such. But yes, the puppy crushes on cute boys--- I can relate to that! Then came 'Michael!' We met in high school, however (It was no puppy crush!) We were married 'quite a few years later, and were still married, when he 'passed on' less than a year ago. 

The dogs and cats are 'looking over at me... 'time for din-din!' Lol.

I am 'terribly sorry to hear about your back. You are not alone. Mine is 'closely related' in terms!

I have just 'rescued' a year old dog... and have been as busy as any new mommy. That is why I have not been on the computer for about four or five days... life is always 'hectic' for the first couple of weeks, when you get a new pup. She is an 'angel' however! 

Really want to chat with you longer, but I must prepare her dinner... and she will only eat 'people food' so it just takes a bit longer... must get all the 'little veggies finely chopped to mash into the steak, hamburger, or chicken... There is 'one dog food that she likes, (The Natural Balance Liver flavor) ... it is yummy! I figured that if it was something that I am going to give to my dog, I am 'dam well' going to taste it first! It tasted better than some of the 'people foods that they sell in a can! Still, she sees it coming out of a can, so I need to mix it well with some steak, hamburger, or chicken. She is 'NOT' spoiled at all... she just 'hates most dog food' and WHO CAN BLAME HER! O.K. I'll admit it. I give them all 'people food' along with any 'really good' dog or cat food, that they will eat. For their teeth, I give them the rawhide chew-chews.

Anyway, they are 'worth' the extra time. My vet told me that 'people food is 'far superior' anyway, as long as they get the veggies mixed in there somehow. Lol!

Must also give them bottled water, as they often find 'all kinds of contaminates' in our tap water. Lol! =^^= 

He would hold the chair for you before you sat down in 'only the best restaurants!' Hold the car door, as well, and 'always put his hand out, to escort you to 'walk before him,' when entering an establishment, or walking on a narrow path! 

My friend called me, and asked me if I would 'foster' a year old pup that some teenagers had rescued from the streets of Los Angeles! The traffic there is 'insane!' She was so 'fortunate!' The teens already had two doggies, and two meowers, and their parents said that 'they could 'just not afford to 'add another dog, so they brought her to a fine 'no-kill' rescue shelter in L.A., where the kennels are large, but still, she 'somehow touched his heart' so much so, that he just 'had to call me! Afraid that she may not be 'adopted' by Loving and Protective people!  My friend lives in L.A. and was there at the shelter that day when they brought! her in! He was so completely drawn to her, but he has a large Afghan dog, that 'he was not sure' would not 'terrify her. Afghans are 'Loving dogs, but for many, it is 'in their genes' to hunt small animals... as they are hounds, and bred to do so. 

Anyway, he sent me her picture, and 'THAT DID IT!' I was completely 'taken by her innocent and ever so desperate eyes!' Strictly as a 'bonus' she is also 'exquisite!' Shades of dark silver, light silver, and sprinkled with white, ( looking like she had just rolled in the snow) black ears, and tail, to match... her face is three shades of the dark silver, light silver, black and white. They think that she is a mix of Cairn terrier, and Poodle... as she has long legs, (unlike the standard cairn) and a sleek body, like the poodle. Extremely intelligent also! The teens had run an ad in the paper for several weeks, but no one answered it, and she had 'no identification attached to her, so whoever owned her, was certainly not protective of her! Anyway, my heart insisted that I keep her! (I offered the shelter $250.00, and they had me fill out all of the papers! She has just had her 'first series of vaccines. I am also going to get her 'microchiped!' If I get her 'spayed,' there may never be another 'like her, so I might just buy those 'little doggie diapers' when she comes into heat... but before I would let her have pups, I would 'Make certain that I already had 'Loving and Protective' homes for the pups! (They are in 'heat' for three weeks... but the doctor said that the first week (when their period begins) glad that I have old rugs... they will not allow the male to 'jump' them. It is the 'second week, that is when they are accepting. The third week, they are still having their period, but again, they do not let the male near them, ... at least not near their 'back end!' I would keep 'all males away' for the entire three weeks, just to be certain, until I 'really anted her to have 'ONE' litter. 

That is actually a 'Great idea!' The back support bra! If you can 'stand a bra! I have seen them, and would probably 'get one as well... I just can not stand to wear a bra, as they always 'dig into my ribs! Instead I wear 'loose fitting blouses. I do 'backbends' to help keep my back 'straight!' I stand at the foot of my bed, and curve my spine backwards, until my hands touch the bed behind me. It took a long time to be able to do that, as I did not want to 'force it!' I already have fractures in my lower back!

Must run to the store.
