I've been staving off the temptation towards militant atheism for a while now.  I did read most of the introduction. I cannot quite describe how I feel. Certain things have always saddened me about the human race -- and this is one of them: people will lie - tell you their opinion(or fantasy) is hard fact - just to be able to tell someone else they're lying. People continue to argue just out of spite... Thats what ended the great God/Evolution/religion-tied-into-anything-rational debates for me. I can only stand the animosity for so long.

She does make some very good points, kudos for posting this. I have a lot to say on this, but I think I'll save it for my own post later.
