I think it's utterly silly to trash Obama for that (which may or may not have even happened) none the less. Yet forgiving blunders like that by Mccain? People scare me. Your voting populace is kinda frightening.

Hey, it's America what can I say. My passport is expired but I found out I can order a passport CARD through the mail that will get me into Canada. I'd better hurry and get it in case I have to beat a hasty retreat.

We actually have friends who get to your neighborhood (from Kansas) every year. They hit the wine country and visit their son who is somewhere in the silicon valley. Who knows.
Silicon Valley is around 3 hours south of here. Not quite wine country - more like computer country ;~) But still...close enough for a drive and stay-overnight!

Aha...I shoulda known ;~) Where do they stay? Do you know? Most people who visit wine country go to Napa (right over the mountain - next county - 45 minutes away). We are Sonoma County. As we like to joke - "Napa makes auto parts - Sonoma makes wine"
