That's right, Folks. Boone, NC, finally has a 'real' restaurant. It's this Tapas and Martini Bar. Tapas being appetizers and such. So like, no 'real' entrees. They have an alright beer list, really good wine selection, and some of the best looking/tasting martinis I've seen.
I had:
5 Spice braised pork belly
Fried Goat Cheese (covered with chocolate on a bed of honey and apples)
Beer du jour (Blowing Rock Ale. It was okay.)
Coconut Creme Brule (oh man. Malibu coconut rum cooked into it.)
Irish Truffle (Bailey's Irish Cream, Godiva Dark Chocolate Vodka, Frangelico, Chambord, and cream)
Tasted:
Hanger Steak (Medium)
Angus Slider
Baked Brie (wrapped in pastry, with almonds and caramel)
Oh, such beauty there is to be had in the world!
