These days are trying for us all but with God all things are in order. It's really not as bad as the 'media' is reporting; except for 'some' coporate mismanagement ~ including our own government!!!
Obama's fame with people across the Globe is something that God forseen; it will do some good. I am not happy with the way our new President is handling difficult choices. For one thing, he's letting Pelosi, Reid and every other liberal friend take charge. It's like he relies on other people's opinions too much. I understand that a new President has to learn the ropes like any new job position but he truly lacks experience to run anything yet alone a Nation such as ours. I can't put my trust in my government, only that God will see us through......IF......'we' (including our leaders)... 'seek Him first, He will heal our land'.
So this Word to be 'Still' is good! We all need to just plug away like we always did...and pray for our new President to seek Godly counsel.
It's nice to be back at least on a semi-regular basis. Things have changed a little around here, with Shiny and Sandy gone on a regualar basis.
You post a very good question and I suspect that God has His reasons. There is another (big) Prophet named Kim Clement who prophesied last January when Hillary looked like the nominee, that Obama will get elected and that God was to meet with him within six months of his term and have a 'true' (Christian) conversion.
I guess it will be like pulling the rug out from under the feet of the liberal media/leaders/nations and then going through the back door to get the job done; God's way. One can only hope. It's my only hope for this President.
I just feel that my country is in a bit of crisis right now. And since we have a new leader who obviously needs all the help he can get -- isn't it a tad selfish of God to wait the six months as per Clement's "prophecy?" Isn't that a bit cruel to hundreds of millions of good people who have a lot at stake?

Your right about the crisis but how bad are 'we' willing to pray for God's intervention. Remember God's walk with Abraham before the attack against Sodom and Gormorrah? How Abraham was able to reach God's heart and hold back His Judgement at least until Lot and his family got out. If 'we' can truly reach God's heart, then maybe He will come sooner. God sees the whole picture; I don't think it's selfishness, I just think there are 'other things' that need to come to pass first. Sometimes God allows 'us' to fall, just so 'we' can see how much we really do need Him.
