Better late than not at all, right? Hope you are doing ok. Sorry it took so long for me to get to this. I am headed for bed now. Can't stay up all night again like I did trying to catch up on replies. lol
Blessings, MamaJo
Another latecomer...but then, I'm always late these days, at least online!
As for this post...all hail, all hail, hallelujah, amen and amen and ALL that stuff! Preach it sista!
This would have surely been in the top blogs, had enough people known to come read it! You're a 'hidden' TREASURE!

OK. So I read your profile, and now I'm not sure WHO you are. But you ride horses (which is an INSTANT 50 points) and you care for dogs, rabbits, horses and bearded goats, which gives you another 50 points, for a perfect score of 100% approval! LOL!
(Now, tell me who the heck you are and how do I know you! or DO I? Well anyway, I ascertain that you are way cool, so whatever...)

You left out, "Tiny Meowers! I adore "All" of God's Creation... and you "DO" know who I am. I wrote to you, and you did not respond, several times! I did not know that you were having "placement" problems with your computer. Even if you sent me a "one line" response, it would have not convinced me that "you don't care for me as a "Dear Friend," but more as someone "Out There" that you admire, but don't have "Time for."
As Mamajo said, we all are "Struggling with life's Challenges!" Throwing money at it "one time" doesn't help matters very much! I do think that you are a "Great Gal" and therefore the best advice that I can send your way, since you don't have a husband to help, is to "Teach your Grandson" to help out around the ranch, in all ways possible! If you make him feel needed, you will make him feel Manly! It will get his mind off of himself as well... that is where a lot of teens falter... getting so self-absorbed, that they become selfish, and irresponsible. This is the "Perfect time" to teach him to "Take Responsibility!" It will give him "Pride" as a young man, and create a "Strong and Caring" Human Being. Be sure to "Thank him often!"Feeding your Animals, cutting down that tree, and clearing the acreage, and even helping out with your Elderly Parent, by doing the laundry while you are at work, will ease your burdens greatly. Please take care of yourself, and get everyone in your workplace to demand more help! (Don't let the boss know it is your idea however)
While you are still quite young, under 50, you can still get yourself a "good man" that you are attracted to! I know that you can.. . you've got what it takes! But don't marry him, until you have gone with him for at least TWO years, Sooo!! Often men without any moral compass can be very deceptive, all for sex! Just as women with no moral compass can be the same way, all for money... so be careful, because I always cared about you, and I suppose that I always will!
(Neptune) I had to get anothersite to blog on, as it would have messed up the Animal Rights/Welfare pages, if I used them for "chatting." And I was getting "tired of "Only being able to respond on "Other people's blogs" instead of "Having my own. I am going to try to keep this one "More light and enjoyable" as the other one is "Primarily for the Benefit of our Animals! Lol! Shaunasea

ShaunaseaCrapazoid girlfriend, I don't have time for ANYthing these days! When I do manage a moment for ME, I've become rather selfish with such rare opportunities. If I'm not, I don't GET them! LOL! I spend so much time on a computer at work these days, I'm getting to where I don't even turn my home computer on AT ALL during the work week!
I'm working on the grandson. There's so much UNDOING to be done, it's hard to make progress, but I'm trying! Your advice is good though, I've noticed that if I can get him to feel 'needed' and 'important' (which he IS, the hard part is making him FEEL it!), it is the most effective approach. Thanks for the remind!
As for men, I've had enough experience with them to know it is HIGHLY doubtful I will EVER remarry, under ANY circumstances. It's just too much trouble. Also, I've become rather crusty in my old age (no hun, I'm OVER 50, by several years!) and not very tolerant of the typical 'man crap.' What I need is a man-slave and/or boy toy to be available at my beck and call, for whatever my needs may be, however frequent (or INfrequent!) that may be! LOL!
I'll enjoy getting to know you better at your new blog! I had no idea you were a 'horse lady' too!!! What kind of horses do you have? What kind or riding do you do? Did you check out the horse show pics! GORGEOUS creatures, aren't they?! I'm convinced I was one in another life...I LOVE grass...*snickers*

Well 53. is still in the "early 50's" so no problem with attracting a "Great guy" if you can "only find one! That is the real challenge... but then if you really are at that point where you can not "Tollerate their more negative qualities" I completely understand! They can be such a great help however, and if you could find the right one, he would offer a wonderful sense of Love, and Companionship, at the same time. Admitadly, a "Good Man really "Is" hard to find... Good actors are easy to find... that is why I do believe in living together for at least two years, before tying the knot.
But you are so fortunate in having a "Grandson, that can grow into a "Strong and Capable Man" and also offer you loving companionship!
I am so glad that I was able to help in some way... with the advice that I knew was beneficial to both you, your grandson, and your entire family.
This new website is more of an "Imaginary" one... In the Profile, if you remember, I said: Oh, do you mean that I can pick any age? That is what I did. I picked the age when I could (and really did) ride like the wind, on my "Precious" Blackbird! I can not ride now, as I told you, because my bones have thinned to much! But I still love to be close to horses when I can. They are "Magnificent, and Noble" creatures!
I am glad that we are back in touch again. I understand about what you are going through! We are just recovering from the "Terrible California Firestorms!" We packed up the pet carriers in the car, and then, crammed most of the contents of the condo, around it, just in case we would have to Evacuate! It was so "Iffy" that we were on edge for days, while watching the devistation! Finally the winds calmed, and we were in the clear, but for so many, that was not the case! In fact the fire is still raging, but they are getting it contained now!
At least you can "Still Ride!" I would give anything to be able to still ride my Blackbird, or another wonderful horse!
We do have the beach, and the entire beach community nearby, and that is often our "slice of heaven" (especially when our kids and dog-gies join us) for a family day out!
Please take care of yourself,
Misty *xoxo*

I could not find the horse pictures? However, if you leave them posted, I will try again tomorrow. I am starting to get chilly, and should be getting to bed. We must catch "The Bachelor" and before that there is "Dancing With the Stars" and a new comedy. Most of the time I fall asleep, before we ever get to the "Bachelor!" Screeeeeeeeeeeches! It is on so late! 10:00 here! It is on ABC in case you want to watch it with your family. Lol

You were caught in those awful fire storms??!!! Those CA firestorms are DREADful!!!!
I thought you had mentioned something about your bones. Don't the medicines like Fosamax and Boniva, or those annual shots work for rebuilding your bones? I just recently was moved from Evista to Fosamax...a pain in the rear to take but worth it I suppose if it works. I asked about that annual shot (I forgot the name of it, but the dr. said I didn't have osteoporosis yet, he called it something similar that is the stage just BEFORE osteoporosis, so I guess I'm starting early enough to halt the damages of any further loss. But back to you, isn't there something you can take to rebuild you bones?

Yes, the "Firestorms were only about 30 miles from our home! Michael and I were "glued to the TV for an entire week! We only stopped to put more things in the car! Thank God that the winds turned back!
I tried Fosamax, and as you said, it was such a "Pain in the a** to take, that I had to drop it, and I actually didn't believe that it was doing anything anyway, other than making money for the drug companies! In my opinion, Boniva is just another "empty promise" for "the drug companies "to fill their pockets! However, I do take 1800 mg. of Calcium tablets per day! The type that includes vit. D! Vitamin D and Magnisium, are extremely important to "break down the calcium" so that your body can use it! It helps to keep me feeling strong, and my back straight! However the Ex-Rays of when i first got the Osteo, were somehow misfiled! So they can't compare bone density! All I know is that the 1800 mg plus the vit. D and the Magnisium, taken together, have worked wonders! That is to say I feel strong... but when I had the last bone density exray taken, it showed that i still had quite porous bones??? Anyway, Sooo, Please do take at least that amount of a good quality calcium, plus the D and Magnisium, and I think that you will "be able to avoid Osteoperosis! I buy the Springfield brand at Wallmart, plus a lot of other of the Springfield vitamins there. They have worked "wonders" for me. When I first came down with it, I could barely walk! Now I can walk for three miles! Sit and rest, and then walk back! I also arch my back backwards in a curve at the foot of my bed, (in case I loose my ballance) to keep my back formation straight! Hugs, Misty (Neptune) Will check out the "High holy hor-si-si-s now, on your blog site!

Beautiful Photos! I especially loved that one that is entitled "Candid camera!" But Oh, those "Regal Horses!" And also so SweeeeeeeeeeeeeT!!!
Indeed they are!!! What really amazes me is "the tiny sea horse!" They actually look so much like the large horses... their faces, that is! It makes me "Furious" when they take them out of the sea, (as if they were no different than a sea shell) and sell them in a dead "heap" with the "little dried out star fish!" (Or stuck in candle wax, for decoration!) What is "Wrong with people!" How can they be so "Heartless!" I
always complain to the store managers that order them out here!"
Right, I am to be more "Cheerful" on this "Misty" site!
I have made up my mind... I am "Going to buy at least "One" Lotto ticket every Friday night! Do you know how many times that I have said this, and then forgotten? But yes, this time I really mean it! If I win at least 10 million, I promise to send you one million!
I told you that I could "come up with something cheerful!"
