Hi! I love cats too. Miko, is half persian and half siamese and that sure is a mix of both attributes found in each breed which can drive anyone nuts. lols By the way, thank you for having me on your list of friends. You're in mine too. Let's keep in touch. Take care. May God bless you and your family.

Hi Ellen! Thank you for adding me to your friends list! That is quite an interesting mix... half Persian, and half Siamese! What is her personality like?
Blessing to you as well!

Hmmm, let me see..... he's lazy sleeps all day but up all night watching out for mice, he loves to be stroked - enjoys it when we brush his fur, loves company. In fact, he demands company when he takes his meal of Friskies.. or finds a nice spot on the mattress to curl up or simply sit quietly as we sleep. If he isn't allowed those perks... he'll meow till you do! He also meows to tell us that he's down his putty time on the tray we leave for him in his own corner.
That's Miko in the picture, his eyes catching the flash of the camera. He's got blue eyes which turns black at night, a long tail which sashays like it has a life of its own, and is longer and bigger than the average native cat in our neighborhood. He makes heads turn with his size. The kids go gaga over him.
Yeah, you can say that he's the king of our household.
Thanks for your reply. God bless you and your family.

He is "Adorable!" He also sounds a lot like my "little Prince!" And wears that "Regal expression!"
Thank you for posting the picture Ellen!
Blessings to you, and your family as well!
I will post to you longer next time, but I must check the T.V. Here in California, where I live, we are now having "Fire Storms!" I think that by tomorrow, we will be able to relax more... at least here. Thank God it has not come this way!
We have had the car "all packed up" with our cat and dog carriers, leaches, and then all the "stuff!"

Hi! I know this reply is long overdue. I won't give any excuses. Truth is, I was thinking that nobody comes anyway so no need to come either. Anyway, it is very nice that you came with your message. But I was worried to read that the Fire Storms are running through your area. Saw this on TV news. Do please be careful. May the good Lord keep you and your family under his mantle of protection.
I have been thinking of leaving Mindsay for the past few months now; haven't quite decided yet though. When I do, I will leave a note here for you. Meantime, I will be coming here occasionally to check for messages.
Take care. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Thank you Ellen, for your "Blessings Requested!" The fires were 30 miles from our area, when the wind shifted! We were so grateful, and still are! However 7 persons were lost to the fire, and I hate to think how many innocent animals!
When they ask people to evacuate their homes here, Thank God, they now allow them to bring their animals, but the wild animals of the forest are often lost, as they become beleagered and trapped, not knowing which way to run. Some escape onto the highways, and other areas, equally dangerous! In California, they are brought to safty, and then returned to the wild, when the fires are no longer a threat.
I hope that you do not leave Mindsay. You always have so very much wisdom to share.
By the way, did you know that "I am Neptune?" This is my other web-page, as I save the "Neptune" blog and wiki page for our "Animals, but I use this one to actually have fun with, be a little silly, add some whimsey, and perhaps I will create more poetry.
If you explore other blogging sites, I hope that you might "keep this one" as well.
It is always good to "Talk with you!"
Blessings upon you, and your family.

It's wonderful to know that you are Neptune too!
Real wonderful.
Oh then I will be coming here to your Misty blog --more to know you better with your other interests in writing and poetry. I already know that you are an animal lover - an interest we both share. But I am sure you are a person wearing several hats lol
By the way, it breaks my heart to think of those poor animals trapped in the fire. I hate to think of that.
Gee, Misty, I never thought of it that way.. all I ever wanted is to write and perhaps meet some good people here who share the same interest. But the latter too seem to have disappeared. lol Well, you're still here.
Okay, you are one very persuasive lady .. so I will give this another try. Will try to post a new piece in a few days. I would love to see you again when it comes out.
Take care always. I'm thanking God that He has kept you and your family safe. God bless you and your loved ones.

well, misty, you make me want to carry on in here. I was close to giving up; you're God-sent. Thanks for the blessing too. Hmmm now that seems interesting -- a picture! Oh yeah, it took me awhile before I could do the task by myself lol. Everything I know bout computer stuff... I owe to my youngest daughter (she's 23). Rest well, my friend. Chat again soon.
May our good Lord keep you and your dear family always under His mantle of protection.
Bye for a bit.
My son's cats use to go and hide in the darkest highest places they could find. One of them is more sociable than the other. If you have a cord for your digital camera, you can plug it into your computer and it should recognise it and you can keep clicking on "next" till all the pictures are loaded. If you have a memory card it should do the same after you put it into the little slot the computer has for it. I sure hope you can do this . . . . it's so much fun posting pictures and captioning them! I load hundreds of pictures a month for my internet sales and I guess without that I couldn't do my business!
I took this picture several years back, with a kodak "one time" camera! I had a "more expensive camera" at one time, and it was stolen, so after that dissapointment, we kept buying the "one time" Kodak cameras! My kids have a digital camera however... we never bought one, but maybe one day. Thank you anyway for explaining! Our kids showed us how theirs works, but we don't really take enough pictures to warrent buying such an expensive camera, to have to then "worry" about... our kids take all the pictures now! Lol!
