Now that the family has been notified, I will share with you all!
We found out this morning that Amanda is two months pregnant with our first child. So I'm going to be a daddy in about seven months!
And we have decided to get married early. Some of you know why. But we're having a very small wedding in August, early in the month. I've got some money saved up and I'm taking her to Florida so we can get married on the beach like she's always wanted. It'll be very simple and small, but it's our compromise. She wants to get married before she starts showing a lot and before some other things happen, and we also want to make sure family can be there. We were going to elope and then have a big ceremony after the baby was born and we were settled, but we talked for a long time today and this is what we decided on. We're doing it once.
She doesn't think her mom will be happy because she's into huge weddings, but neither of us are, and it is OUR wedding.
Look out world, we made a baby!
