if you mean the stephen colbert skit...
we were watching it live on saturday night (shows you how exciting our nights are!) and we were oddly bored by colbert's skit and movie. it was oddly unfunny. even more strange is that you could've heard the coffee cups jiggle in the audience. it bombed.
and i like colbert alot.
yah, the salon intro kind of called it well. (actually, i think it's really cool that you caught it live. this one'll go down somewhere as a cultural something.)
Unfunny. That's a whole other discussion. It was beyond funny. It was surgically accurate and ... relentless. Breathtaking, really. You should at least read the Salon intro.
the whole film was way too long. as i said, the people there didn't laugh. Colbert could tell he was kinda bombing. maybe they thought he was too nasty to the press themselves. perhaps.
but the helen thomas thing was just too long.
