So, I was a little excited when he went from being near Baghdad to Kuwait.

I was quite excited when he came back to the States (he’s been up in AK for the last month).

But it hasn’t quite gotten here that he’s coming home. I know it, but I don’t quite get it.

He’s going to have my hide for one or more of my misadventures, or the ones I’ve been planning, while he’s been gone. And I love him for it.

I take so much pride in him for what he’s doing, what he’s pursuing, and the character he wants to be.

And he’s coming home tonight!!

Re: My 'brother' is coming home
You SHOULD be proud of him.  Each of us should be proud of our women and men in the service.  There is so much we all take for granted, but those who have put their lives on the line ... even if they signed up for the education or benefits ...they deserve our gratitude and deepest respect.  For the most part, they are wonderful people who only want to help make this world a better place.  Tell your brother "Thanks" from those of us who appreciate his sacrifice.

Yay!  I am happy for your brother and yoru family!  It is always so much better at the Holiday times when your warrior gets to come home!

Hehehe my brother threatened many times when I was in highschool and college to come beat the crap out of me and any guy I was with while in the military if he didn't like something I did!  I just laughed at him and said sure bro!
