There is so much dust here...*clears away the cobwebs*... someone really needs to pay more attention to this place.

Do you know the definition of neglect?  Obviously, I do because that's exactly what has happened to little Miss' blog!

So let me quickly update with the latest on Sarah.

She graduated high school with honors, she earned a cheerleading scholarship to UCLA and she's been accepted in the fast track program for pre-med.  This summer she's traveling to Cambodia to give out immunizations to orphan children.  She and Cole have set the date for the wedding and their engagement party is sure to be loads of fun.  He's going to spend one more year at the Sorbonne and then it's back home to be with his Sarah.

Ok, ok, so this isn't 2020, but I'm sure it feels like it's been that long since I've posted anything on here.

Sarah is Sarah.  Life is wonderful with her, and because of her.

She had a fabulous time with Noni while I was away playing.  Then once I got back home we all jetted off for Orlando and they continued their bonding time.  By the time we had to leave they were BFF.

I took some fabulous pictures of Sarah at Disney world and on Easter.  I still have to edit those and I'll post them ASAP.  I also have cute pictures I took from Sarah's Fun Field Days at Sarah's school.

The dominating theme in Sarah's life lately has been Webkinz, I think I spelled that right.  I guess it's a "pet" that's purchased in the real world and then cared for in the virtual world.  In any case, Sarah's been trying to earn her first Webkinz by earning 2 weeks worth of Good BEEhavior bees.  She was just two days away from getting one this week and she didn't get her Bee for Wednesday. :(  She and I were both very disappointed (and let me tell you all it was really really hard not to buckle and just let her get it)  By the next day she worked through her disappointment and when I picked her up from school she happily announced, "I'm back on track Mommy!  Two more weeks and that webkinz is mine!"  I'm just so darn proud of her sometimes I want to shout out my window, "I HAVE THE BEST KID EVER!"

*happy sigh*

So, that's the latest and greatest with Little Miss.

This so may NOT be wanted advice but I am taking a LOT of behaviour modification courses at the moment through work and let me tell you 2 weeks is a perfect goal for little miss thang, but you shouldnt expect 2 weeks of perfect behaviour, she should be allowed approximately 1 incident per week kinda thing ... thats the perfect amount.

Just stuff I am learning! I dunno, maybe ....

No, thank you, I'm always willing to listen to some good advice.  Thank you for telling me that.  I felt really horrible for her because she had been trying so hard to get her B's, this past week was her second attempt, and she came so close, and her offense at school wasn't really all that bad, she kept grabbing and hugging kids, and they have a "Hands to yourself" rule, so it wasn't like she was hitting or fighting.  So, I was wondering if it just too much to ask of her right now.  I'll have to consider it all.  I think I will have her try again for the next two weeks but if she has another minor setback I won't make her start over again.

But if she has a set back and you end up letting her get a Webkins, then make sure she knows WHY you are letting her, that she met your expectations and that "such and such an incident really wasnt too bad", etc. And if she comes out of school all upset for not getting he Good Beehaviour sticker, just maybe saying to her "Thats too bad it happened Sarah, but lets see what the rest of your week is like ok?"

Hope that helps! (I feel bad giving advice since I am just a wee young'un with no kiddies of my own).

Re: *Cough, Cough*
That's exactly what I had in mind if it happened again.  It's a real fine line, because I don't want her to learn she'll still get what she wants no matter what but I don't want her to get so focused on trying to be "perfect" that she becomes completely neurotic, lol.

You shouldn't feel badly about giving out advice.  You have a perspective that I don't have and sometimes that's what a person needs.

I look forward to hearing how it goes!

I cant wait to hear how it goes! Those WEBKINS were so popular at Christmas at the bookstore! When you buy one though make sure the TAG is attached (its in a plastic cover) and make sure its for the PROPER Webkin. Some stores sell them without the TAG and them and then they are useless! DONT BE CONNED!

Yeah um, that's what I hear, so now you know why I'm making her work for it.  7 huh, that sounds like a bit of bribery and spoiling going on there.
