Nah, it's all good. On the positive side MY BOOK was on the main traffic walk of our church, so that's cool. 

Oh ouch! Poor girl. Hope it wasn't too low a blow. Think of it this way - now someone who couldn't afford it at full price will be able to afford it now.

Actually it wasn't a low blow at all. It truly made me laugh out loud. They had more copies than I knew, which was very cool, and I was able to tell my church-buds about it. So, hey, advertising. lol
I've discovered many of my favorite authors on the discount table, and looked for their next books at regular price. But I've always wondered how a writer would feel to walk in and see their books there.
Well, for me it was funny. A friend of mine (name dropping: Penina Keen Spinka, author of Picture Maker and Dreamweaver) was unamused, but she is rather more of a serious novelist than I am.
