I can hear you!
... I'm not a fan of the toolbar, and I can't post pictures
But it's so good to see you here.
Boo! No pics??? *rude noise* Well that's no fun.
Good to see you, too!

the best way to post pics, dessie, is to put them on flickr or any of those sites, copy and then paste them.
So it was YOU that started this? I thought it was Roger! Well anyway...it was a BRILLIANT idea! I had forgotten what affection this place holds for me. I've missed it. Wonder how many will come back after this little reunion? Again, FRABULOUS idea!
I wanted to get a bunch of old faces back in the community, if anything else but to catch up and reminisce. I believe I'm going to set it up as a yearly event, like a big family reunion.
Hopefully some of the people will stick, bring in some new faces, and we'll just re-vitalize the whole network.

I call bull. Kinda sucks a bit to post and not really have any new cool people (RARELY) find their way over. Which is to say it's nice to see ol... excuse me, long-time friendly faces back.

Old is good. *laughing* My hair is a lot more gray than it used to be! It is weird for me to think I started blogging here when I was <cough> still in my thirties...
So you haven't found a cool new/young audience? As talented as you are? How about in other venues/media?

You? Gray? Surely you don't rely upon Revlon just quite yet. I've found (and stricken from my head) my first gray this summer... none since. Unless they're partying on the back of my head.
No, not really. One kid, eddiec, really reminds me quite a bit of Jesse for some reason. I haven't quite found an audience in new venues just quite yet. I'm making inroads, however. And quickly.

Nope, no hair color. I just let it go gray. LOL It's in threads, though, not streaks.
I'm glad you're making inroads. You have much that is worth sharing.

If it were in streaks it may look more like you've survived a lightning strike.
I'd like to believe so but it's up to the reader to make that determination. Audience dictates value of information... if you know what I mean.

I can see how one might say so, but as a self-published author and one who is published under other names in other venues, I can only say that I believe what I have to say is valid regardless of the audience I appear to have garnered. The inherent worth of my words does not lie on the audience, but on the words and the spirit behind them, in my life.
I cannot control anything other than what I produce. Everything else is out of my hands...which is a relief, or I'd be so enormously depressed.lol

Oh, I understand what you're saying and yes, I do agree. But until the words find an audience that is willing to do anything with what you're saying, well... you're just playing tennis with a wall. You can keep playing but you'll always lose because you'll never be as good as the wall.
