I can''t believe that it's October. I've heard that lately. So I think, what have I've have done in the 12 months? Oct 06, I moved into trailer. Jan 07, I visited my daughter living in Ohio, She was expecting her third child. She had a beautiful little boy, just like his brother and sister. Then on to Tennessee, my son lives there. On my way down, he called my cell phone to tell me that he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him. I was able to meet the, soon-to-be, in-laws. Then my son in Florida called, he reasoned, that I was half way to FL from WI. So--- I go. I was able to see his school, apartment, and girlfriend, and oh ya--warm weather. My traveling companion, is my dog Molly. I call her my "empty nest child". So I travel back to winter, started a new job and settle in the new digs. My oldest and me go to a neet sort of drawing thing. i really enjoy the time spent together. I bought a used motorcycle. My reasoning, save gas, save the world and money on gas. I can save $60.00 a week in gas, $240.00 a month.

April, I go to a car show with daughter and family. I trade my camper for a '77 convertable bug. Sweet-- my pop-up was more work that I wanted. My idea of camping is not to worry about setting up and taking down. I wanted something a little more simple but not have wet floors in tents. So I have a '76 VW campmoble. My thought is to down size. Sell my gas eating Jeep and pop-up. Well as it turns out, both VW's need TLC. So for now the jeep stays (for the up coming winter). May comes,my son's wedding. One of best things that happens, my oldest sister comes along. The wedding is great, the stay in the hotel was great. Seeing the family support their brother and his three best buds there. Makes me warm all over.

It's really amazing how many changes you've been through in this year alone.  You are an inspiration in how you handle things with so much peace and calmness.

I am so glad that I got to spend so much time with you this year.  Thank you for the gifts and sacrifices you've made for us all.
