Global corporations and governments have joined forces to launch a united propaganda assault about how we must turn “green” while all the real environmental crises - deforestation, GM crops, chemtrails, genetic splicing, and cancer-causing cellphone tower radiation - are completely ignored.

Taken from rv1501 's recent repost from Prison Planet.  I'd like to add suburban sprawl to that list of real environmental crises.

Yes, each of us and all of us could die today. What's new?

Nothing is new, but that Lowe's they're building is pretty shiny...

"suburban sprawl to that list of real environmental crises."--it's totally killing the Ag here in Cali

It's already killed a huge chunk of it in the northeast.

I have no doubt..

Heck, it's hurt us, and we're fairly far removed from the real suburban stretches.

apparently, not far enough too soon now

Yeah, sitting so close to the Megalopolis and Jersey... it's like being a rabbit and staring up at the hawk.

I doubt things will get any better as long as the population keeps rising.

I know.  I have hope that pushing smaller land areas into higher yield production will, when disasters such as massive flooding this year strike, cause starvation to whittle off parts of the pack.

I was an international TV correspondent in Miami from 90 to 97, traveling continuously in the Estates and the world, my boss wanted me to have a beeper, and I thought ya! That will be that day that you can bother me at any time, unfortunately for him the beeper was all ways out of batteries, it must have malfunctioning also, I all most lost my job over the issue.

Never both a cell phone ether, until last moth, wife is pregnant and I have to buy one of those 15 box prepay thingies just for emergencies, there it is seating on my desk.

Couple a day ago I was watching TV and they did a piece about how people live longer in island of CRET, supposedly because of the alive oil, if you wait for the media to tell you the way out when you are lost in the fog, you’ll be better shooting yourself in the head.

How absolutely ridiculous is that comment, living longer because of the oil? .

They live longer because they are not stuck in traffic 2 hours a day, because they eat fresh food every day and in stead a supervised Coke for lunch and diner, they drink couple of glasses of wine, there is no smog or a boss that is in your back like a lich socking the air out of your life, there is no, cubicle or subway, airplanes and noise pollution, and they actually see and enjoy the sun every day, and of course they eat with extra virgin olive oil.

I live in a rural area, without most of that stuff, but I'll die young anyway.  It's what I get for being productive!

After 11 years in Miami and 7 years in Washington D.C we just got up and relocated to a nice small Village outside Milwaukee ,it is being about 6 month and I can not tell you in words how happy I am (wife is a cheese head ) . This is paradise including the snow.

There will be no villages someday.  They aren't profitable enough for our masters.

I know this more than you'll ever imagine (whit all do respect) but i figure that when the shit hits the fan in the cities ,in about 6 to 10 years ,we will still have a buffer zone of about 15 to 20 years.
