I made a multi-purpose bag out of used Target bags, and a large Walmart bag.  I used a tutorial I found on YouTube.  Just the technical parts, I just sewed it from my own design, if you want to call it that....

It was really easy but kind of time-consuming for the first go-round.  I think I will make a smaller one when I get more Target bags, I like how they melt.  If you do a google search for this type of re-purpossed grocery sacks, you can find all kinds of things.  I was really amazed at the creativity.

I free-hand sewed the heart on there.  I need to practice that more.  I am more of a straight-ish line kind of girl, but the whole project was really fun.  I used some black remnant ribbon (braided) for the handles.  I can't wait to use it!  It's really cool how the sacks become so strong when they are melted.  I love it!

Nice job!  Out of curiosity, have you used your creation yet?  Is it holding weight well?

Yes!  We used it all weekend, carried 3 ball gloves, a few pairs of sneakers, a few baseballs, and some socks one day.  And the next day, 4 beach towels, and swimming trunks.  Still going strong... I really am surprised!

That is awesome!  I'm totally inspired; I watched a couple videos on it from the link you provided.  Although, I doubt I'll never do anything with it, it's cool to think about.
