that's a nice big list! i recommend seven samurai wholeheartedly. it is an amazing film and one of my favourites.
i've actually seen the first 20 minutes. and it's "at the top" of my list. I know I need to see it, but the length of the film is daunting.
yeah i know it is a very long movie, but when you start watching it, it doesn't feel that long at all, it's so engaging! i love movies like that...!
If you like "The Seven Samuari" try the Americian remake "The Magnificent Seven" it just replaced Samauri with Cowboys and it's really a good flick.
"The Tommyknockers" was originally a TV mini-series so free up alot of time to watch it.It's long!
Don't bother with "Catwoman". I watched it on cable about two or three weeks ago and it sucked...bad.
I watched my DVD of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" yesterday and I still laugh my butt off.
Either "History of the World Part 1" or "Blazing Saddles" were Mel Brooks' best films.
If you watch "Carnival: Season 1" you may as well watch Season 2 as well. Season 2 is faster paced than #1 and you can find out how the story ends. I soooo loved that show.
I thought everyone had seen "Toy Story 2". Good flick, i liked #1 better but i think it's just me. Everyone i know liked 2 better.
My advice:
Make sure you've paid all your late charges at the video store, get ALOT of popcorn, take all your vacation time from work and plow into this list. There's a bunch of great movies on it!

I think it would take me at least a year to watch all these movies! Or 4+ weeks of nothing but watching films.
If you alloted 2 hours for each movie, it would take 528 hours to complete it. If I were to add a movie to that list, it would be Jacob's Ladder.
really? It's actually on IFC (Independent Film Channel?) on sun morning at 5 am. so i am going to try and catch that, before I move out of the house w/cable that very day.
Yeah, remember the episode when Jerry's dating an acrobat? That's her! That reminds me, to go to IMDB.com...cause I belive Jack Black was in yesterday's episode
