Welcome to mindsay!
I am 37 and we have four teenagers. I strive to feed them healthy meals every night, but Friday is "Fend For Yourself Friday".
We recently had to move back into a house we own and was remodeling to sell, it wasn't ready to live in yet, so the process of getting moved into and settled enough, with a kitchen to actually cook in, was all about 3 months. So I'm just starting to get back to healthier meals for the family.

Hi and thank you for the welcome! I don't look forward to the day we have to move all of this stuff into a new house, but we are outgrowing this one so fast! When I was young we used to move from house to house and live in them while my dad fixed them up. It was sort of his hobby/work and then he'd turn around and sell them. I don't know how my mom did it all of those years living in boxes and moving around so much. I know I couldn't!
Oh my goodness! We would go insane! My husband has been a bit depressed lately, feeling overwhelmed, and not knowing how to fixe things like electric and plumbing, and not having the money to have someone else do it. We have decided that the next house we buy, when kids are gone, (bout 4 or 5 years) will be completely finished!
We moved alot when I was a kid, but that was mostly to excape paying rent. I went to 11 different elementary schools, I hated it, and wanted sooo much different for my own kids. It hasn't been as stable as I had hoped for them, but no where near as bad.

I thank the godz for whoever created the dishwasher! there are some nights that i dont even want to look at a dish! i am a mother of 5 ranging from 1 yr to 16 years of age, two of them being adopted. and i never seem to be able to stop and have a thought of my own anymore! welcome to mindsay, its great to have another mom around

LOL Yeah, my dishwasher (bought within the past year) still doesn't do the work for me! I usually have to almost completely clean dishes before putting them in it in order to get them clean and I always try to rinse them when they go in the sink so stuff doesn't get stuck on them. It's too bad too, it was supposed to be a nice dishwasher but I think we got talked into a piece of junk by Bosch!
