Well, I'm sure you're wondering what happened to my promise to blog every day. Weeeelllll, quite frankly, I have had absofrickin'lutley nothing to talk about. Get up, go to work, come home, do some chores, read, watch some tv, go to sleep. Nothing much that deviated from that. But something interesting happened today. Someone brought an alpaca and her baby in to the nursing home where I work today! The baby was less than a day old, and it was SO CUTE! It looked like a little long legged lamb! And it was so soft! imagine the softest thing you can think of, and this was softer. It was so neat! you ought to have seen the look on the residents faces! They love it when critters come in, and lemme tell ya, this was some critter! One lady didn't know they were there until they came up behind her, and she had such a look of surprise on her face when the mother stuck her face over her shoulder. then such a sweet, amazed smile spread over her face. and you gotta understand something, this woman does not smile. If she smiles, it's a red letter day.
Then, to make matters better, my little nephew came over and saw me at work. He just turned four, and he's very cute! :D I may not have birthed him, but he's my boy! :D His birthday was saturday, and I had his pressie at my house. He started twitching when I told him his present was at my house. My mom has keys, so she had to bring him here to get it, or he never would have given them any peace. ;) Ah, youth. Then again, I'm the same way over presents, both giving and recieving, so I can see where he gets it. :P
