Ah, the wonderful world of science. Note that soy products figure greatly into the diets of Eastern Asian societies for millennia. The Chinese and the Indians have the largest populations in the world.

If you like soy products, use them. Besides, most sperm in the human species are rejects. Our biological reproductive systems use a 'survival of the fittest' as the most healthy sperm will outperform the rejects... and there are usually more rejects than healthy sperm in the first place. Not so with women- only one or two eggs drop at a time. Anyway, that's what I remember from my grade school reproduction classes (which was religiously oriented, but the LCMS doesn't believe that basic biology is antithetical to Scripture).

Re: New Study- Soy halves sperm count
I avoid soy, although I occasionally drink soymilk with cereal -- not more than once or twice a week, sometimes weeks at a time.

With modern pollution and modern sleep habits, men should avoid things that can lower testosterone levels, i.e. soy. Testosterone aids much more than muscle, such as motivation and focus. Saying soy "just" lowers sperm count is like saying smoking weed "just" makes a guy impotent.

Contrary to popular belief, cultural observation tells us that most traditional cuisines — even Asian — don't incorporate soy as a staple.

The average soy intake in East Asian populations is between 40 to 90 grams per day (1.5 to 3 ounces). Folks, that's totalsoy intake, not grams of soy protein. This amount of soy equates to roughly 10 to 20 grams of soy protein per day, which is actually less than the daily allowance of protein recommended by the FDA.

Oh, but I love my soy sauce on my steamed rice with broccoli.

Yep, that's an insignificant amount of soy. I like it, too -- giving me a hankering to cook.
