Thanks. I think most of the letters worked out fine. Except the t's are a little bit higher because the bottom doesn't touch the baseline. But oh well, live and learn. I call it the "Cupcake" font. Yeah, I know, cheesy, but I didn't know what else to call it.

What do you think of Resnais?

He is so hit or miss for me. Now, they are showing all his films in L.A. at a retrospective this month. However, I've seen nearly all of them...so I'm pretty much not going to watch them again. I was hoping they would show his new film, which I think showed at the New York Film Fest or something. But yeah, that's pretty much the only one I haven't seen.



He started off being really experimental and trippy and he's mellowed. For the most part I like the mellowness. I really like Hiroshima Mon Amour from his early stuff. It's one of those movies that will probably even improve on repeated viewings. And I liked his last film Coeurs, known as Private Fears in Public Faces because it was based on an English play by that name. The first time I thought the ending was a downer, the second time I thought it was very hopeful. Strange, right? I think he has a certain depth to his films. He's worth checking out.



Plus, he has this film named Providence. I hated it, but my friend Lauren and others loved it. It's so weird, you know. Everyone has their take on it!!
