One of the foreign teachers that had told my school that they would move here changed her mind... so my school still needs
at least one more teacher. So if you have a 4-year degree (B.A. etc) then come to Xi'an International University! The apartments are nice, have high speed internet, and even have CNN and HBO (in English)!
There web site is:

My first classes (second year Writing, second year Presentation and 1st Year Spoken English and Western Culture) have been fine and it's very enjoyable to be teaching again! Last night met a couple foreign friends that live here too. We ate some baozi (a type of dumpling) dunked in vinegar in the Muslim quarter. And then, outside of the South Gate (south section of the old city wall-- which is still standing and/or has been rebuilt in places) we then saw some fun looking dancing of a very large group of locals as well as another group singing famous Shaanxi songs, we didn't have time to check out a third group that was doing Shaanxi opera.
In other words: Xi'an is a great place to live! (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
