Firstly, I doubt that these people were on ‘his side of the ticket’ you can’t blame him for things that people do. Just like you can’t blame McCain for what the people on his side of the ticket do.  Both individual groups are wrong for what they are showing. No matter their opinions or freedom of speech, ‘lynching’ a person in effigy is just a crude, tasteless and really very disrespectful way of getting a point across.  BUT. These Kentucky students, did this on a campus…where it went against code. The people who did Palin and McCain did this on their private property. Now to my point of Obama not being Arabic or Muslim.

An Arab is defined as a person being a member of a Semitic people inhabiting Arabia, whose language and Islamic religion spread widely throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa from the seventh Century.

That being said, if you look up where Obama was born and raised you would find that he was born in Honolulu Hawaii, at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. His father was Kenyan and Kenya, which actually is located in EASTERN Africa…not Northern Africa, boasts its primary religion to be Protestant (at 45%, Islam being actually only 10%). But being that he was born on US soil…I’m fairly sure that the geography of his father’s homeland doesn’t apply since morals and beliefs aren’t gained through the blood in your veins but by the people who raise and teach you. I’m certain that he’s fairly clear of Arabialand.

 

The only time he spent outside of the US as in living was in Indonesia. Where he lived with his mother, a white woman from Kansas…for a little less than 8 years I believe. His parents had divorced before then when he was very young, and his father went back to Kenya. He only saw his son once since then before he died in a car accident. So…you can see he had very little opportunity to learn Muslim beliefs from his father. And at any rate, Obama described his father as a man who was raised a Muslim but was a confirmed atheist by the time his parents met.

You have nothing to base him being a Muslim or Arab on now.

His daddy was married to a Kenyan woman, whom he never bothered to divorce prior to his supposed marriage to Obama's mother, who he never bothered to divorce before he had, I think, married another Kenyan woman either.

 

Obama's mother was in Kenya when he was borne, not Hawaii as her passport would bare out, as would his actual birth certificate IF they were available for public scrutiny and that makes him a  Kenyan not an American.
