Hi Everyone,

OK, I just blog napped this post from JACKSEZ cause I liked what it said. [EDITED: I forgot to turn jacksez into a mindsay link]

 

"Hope and Change."  That's what the bumper stickers said, and that's what he talked about for months.  "Yes, we can!"  "Change we can believe in!" OK, Obamamites.  You got him elected, and now open your eyes and look what you've wrought.

As we speak--and write--he is taking over the country, your financial future, your liberties, your very life.  Think I'm exaggerating? Think this is just Republican sour grapes? Would to God it was.  No, it's all coming more clear each day.

What he says he doesn't want to do, he's doing: He doesn't want to run car companies, but he's running car companies.  He doesn't want you to have to give up your health plan, but when Obama Care is enacted and the government runs it all, your company's health plan will get dropped because your current provider will not be able to complete with one that has 300 million people in its customer base.

And once they go out of business, as they will, everyone will have to get health "care" from the Feds.  DID YOU HEAR THAT?  From the FEDS.  You know who they are, don't you?  If not, I've got one word for you: FEMA.  That's right, the same folks who helped New Orleans recover from Katrina.  [and still claim that they are helping them too Boo.]

Oh, wait.  That's still a disaster, FOUR YEARS later. Yes, the same entity and policy genius that provided the toxic trailers for poor people to live in, which caused them to get sicker than they already were, the trailers that are STILL THERE.

THAT federal government.

And you want THEM to handle your medical care?  You want to make medical appointments with them, and have them approve medications and surgeries and tests and treatments?  Are you willing to wait months, even years, to have a procedure that you need to have in WEEKS or DAYS or you may die?

(Remember, with tens of millions of additional people to cover, 47 million according to Obama, there aren't going to be enough doctors and nurses and other medical professionals to handle them all).

Do you want to have to deal with layer upon layer upon layer of red tape and hours on the phone before you can just have a prescription filled?  Do you want to be denied a unit of blood when you're in the hospital because government studies have determined that blood banks are giving too many units to one race over others, and we can't have "disparate impact."

Sorry, pal.  You going to have to wait.  I mean die.  But at least equality was maintained.  You can be thankful for that as your eyes close for the last time.

This is Obama Care, and it's why Hillary Care went down in flames back in the 1990s.  But even before all that goes down, you have trillions--did you get that?--TRILLIONS of dollars in debt to cover.

Well, not you, of course. You'll be long dead waiting for blood.  No, but your KIDS and GRANDKIDS will be covering today's drunken spending.

And under the guise of "saving the environment", your taxes are going up and freedoms are going down.  Obama is assuming control of every aspect of your life and mine, just like the show The Outer Limits controlled your TV in the 1960s.

Cap and Trade will cause energy prices to skyrocket, and your will not be able to even sell your own home in the free market until a government approval is obtained that certifies your home passes "green" standards and meets energy requirements.

No "fixer-uppers" any more.  Oh, no.  All homes sold will have to have energy saving features and gov't approved lighting and insulation, environmentally safe materials and other PC things.

It's all for the good of the collective, don't you know. You are helping save the world, even if you're going broke to do so. Obama is using the excuse of "saving the environment" to control every step you take or want to take.

Liberty?  That's not responsible living; that's selfish living.  Driving what you want? Setting your own AC?  We can't allow that, as you might use too much energy and leave too big a carbon footprint.

You voted for him, and now he's raping every one of us.  And he's giving that wide, becoming smile and warm laugh as he does so.  Oh, he's a real player, this one.  He's got us by the balls, and knows our hearts and minds will follow.  Or else.

So what to do?  Sure, somehow an Iran-type rebellion could break out on the streets.  The Tea Parties are helping to get the message out that we're heading to socialism.  And we are, don't fool yourself. He already runs the auto companies, financial institutions, insurance companies and whatever. More to come.

But some are thinking outside the box. Radical, even. But radical times call for radical measures.  I don't believe for a minute that anyone wants to live as a slave. But we all will be soon. And, like the slowly boiled frog, we don't even feel it coming.

But at some point, enough people will say "Enough" to make a secession movement feasible, I believe. They aren't going to live under the thumb of oppression like is coming down the pike.

This isn't a party matter; it's a freedom and American matter.

Americans don't live under dictators very well, and we've got one in the White House who is charming and handsome...the most dangerous kind.

He intends to control each of us down to our choice of shirt and tie, and don't you think he doesn't.  Claiming the very opposite of what he actually does, Obama will steal your wallet while insisting you simply misplaced it, and when you find it on him, he'll tell you he's doing it for your own good.

Trust him. "Hope and Change." This is what he had in mind; I don't know what you were expecting.
