Why would obama want to deliberately kill? You may well be right, but if he does have some sort of hatred towards americans, I'd like to see where, because then I'd see why he might have a hidden agenda - as soon as people see why he would, they will lose trust. Hitler made it obvious because that's how he won power, and public support was important to what he wanted to do, but if obama has something similar in mind he needs to get the public to want somebody's blood too.
Hitler's rise and the consequences are only obvious to us because we have hindsight, and a much broader perspective on what was happening then. We're still finding out more about it all, seventy years later. Seventy years from now, who knows what they'll be looking back at?
Very valid point, and we take on board what we do know and recognise when it looks like somebody is trying to do the opposite. Obama may have a genius idea of how to go from his position to enslave everyone and become a tyrant, but he'd have to pull off a massive gain in power over people's personal lives, and the will of congress, the law and law enforcement to do that for him, rather than fight him when he tries. And who knows, there may be a way of doing that even if I can't see it, but ultimately we could end up being afraid of everything, always sticking with the evil we know... we don't want to risk stoping the country/the world from giving a chance to something that may turn out to be good for it... moving in the more liberal direction he is would only make it harder for him to sieze autocratic power any known way, because it's almost doing the opposite.
Even if he tried, americans are armed and would probably try to fight back if it got to bad, and if it really came down to it and the experiment went terribly wrong, I think the world combined could easily defeat the american military if it had to... maybe china alone would be enough, dunno

From this angle, it looks to me like everyone gets paranoid about him over the fact he's either left wing or not as right wing as republicans feel comfortable with. It looks like people are using these laws to build a case against him as wanting to become a tyranical dictator. But there could be other reasons why he brought those laws in place, if it was him who introduced all of them, and if he actually plans on using them. And we can't ignore what moves other presidents from other political standings may've made either.
I look at the guy, and think "why would he want to?" - he doesn't give off vibes of hate, or power lust, infact he won polularity by being the opposite. He always seems quite collected when I've seen him. I think his political moves are merely what he believes to be right and in his efforts to try to fix things or make society fairer, and we can talk about that.

Here, it's a lot more difficult. I wouldn't even know where you'd start, and most criminals here are individuals or small time gangs, they wouldn't bother to go to much effort to find out or draw attention to themselves
But London is still the zipgun capital of the world. Socioeconomic factors have more to do with violent crime than access to guns does.
Maybe in london where there's organised gangs, and where there's areas the police dare not go, but not here 60 miles away (where you could be stop-searched at any time and caught on possession), people would freak out if they saw a gun. Any normal town, by and large only has to worry about knives. And you're right that socioeconomic factors has more to do with the incedence of violent crime, like the recession is... but the type of crime will depend on practicalities... if you make it more difficult to get hold of guns, that won't eliminate gun crime but it makes it more difficult for impulsive or unorganised use, like if you illegalise a drug you can't eliminate it, but you make it less available, and that cuts out anyone without serious intent. Less leathal weaponry probably means fewer deaths, like if a man vents his anger by shooting his wife in a domestic, she's less likely to survive than if he stabbed or hit her.
Illegalising drugs and alcohol have shown us that, yes, there is a slight reduction in use, but it inevitably creates a huge workload for government agencies tasked with enforcing it, and breeds organized crime syndicates that can amass huge amounts of wealth by finding ways of bringing the product to market. In turn, those bodies of organized crime, from street gangs to mafia families, cause even more destruction than would have been had we just left the substance legal. Almost invariably, the social cost of banning a product of any kind far outweighs any benefits to be had.
And I can kill just as easily with a knife as a gun if that killing is premeditated. I never knew that... I think people were a lot more trustworthy with these things back then... I don't understand what's changed, but I think there are people out there who would take the opportunity to... blow stuff up, like people take the opportunity to get drunk. Like I think the culture is that people wouldn't be as sensible with drugs nowadays. I guess illegalisation made drugs more of a valuable commodity, and that explains the gangs - I wouldn't be surprised if other comodities, legal or otherwise, will be siezed by gangs, like oil, or luxury cars, or coffee even - they will want to control the market and production, and scare off any legit
They are premeditated... but also opportunistic on the kid finding the parent's gun (that's the only thing it has in common with domestic stuff, because sometimes that can be opportunistic). If they were determined, they could find another gun anyway, but it'd be harder if guns were less available, and a kid probably wouldn't get as far or create the same terror on a knife spree.

Very true, I think that's what society's lost - it doesn't try to address deeper problems anymore, it just wants things to look good on paper. If people didn't feel like they had to drink, do drugs, or school shoot, if we could deal with the emotional things behind it rather than leaving it to them to control and sort out (control is what everyone's expected to do, it's like taboo just to express bad emotions)
Society as it is has become too dangerous to be trusted with those sorts of things, I think... we do need to sort out the issues but all the time they have an ability to do a lot of damage, in a messed up mindstate, they're dangerous to themselves and others, it'd be like leaving a knife on a table near suicidals and schizophrenics... I think the general public itself has developed more mental issues than is recognised, with things like paranoia becoming almost socially acceptable/expected that these people aren't filtered out

-Psychiatric treatment and medication have helped many people in recent generations to cope. Those people, in earlier times, would have likely been cast out from society, or ended their lives before breeding and passing on their faulty genes. Now, since more mentally damaged people are alive, they have more children, who are more susceptible to having the same or other mental problems. It will continue to get worse.

- That one makes sense with senile dementia, I see so much of it at the hospital I'm almost inclined to think that anyone who lives long enough eventually gets it. Teenage depression must be for other reasons though - I think the shift from adolecent to adult life is very harsh and brutal, I don't think they are always prepared
- I don't think talking about damage (i.e. pain, etc) spreads the problems... but I think things like hate and paranoia can be spread (to people who haven't yet developed an immunity). In terms of problems I think talking actually helps them figure it out, I reckon the internet is a good thing in breaking isolation because before society was set in it's ways anyway - now people are challeneging views, like you say, but there's nothing saying that the way society was was right in the first place. The internet allows them to fight their cause without taking it to physical lengths
- It's right what you say, that these people are being kept alive... but I think anyone under the right circumstances can be damaged or hurt, I don't think it's strictly genetic. Because also then you get into the realms of blaming the pain on them and eugenics, and I believe a lot of the blame lies with the destructive people who cause the pain - they have mental problems if they feel the need to do that, and it doesn't actually make them stronger, it just undermines others - and I think without those people around, people wouldn't get damaged in the first place. I may've said before, but I believe the pain need not exist.

Supposedly because it made "Mexicans" drug crazed rapists of white women.
Needless to say no one bothered pointing out Hearst's hatred of Pancho Villa, at that time, for nationalizing Mexico's forests and for snatching away access to millions of acres of prime timber from him.
Nor did anyone seem to care about the obscene amount of profit that the DuPont family, who were very close friends of Hearst, along with several other big name families stood to make once those laws were passed..., or lose if those laws weren't enacted back then.

I think humans do/will try to manipulate and seize authoritarian/dark power generally, manipulation and deceit is how it always works. It's a whole side to human nature we're fighting.
Rebelling against this on every level, trying our best to make every situation in life clear, honest, un-authoritarian and making everyone care for each other - that is the way to fight any darker movement - as far as us doing the best we can, it almost doesn't matter how big or powerful any dark group is, we fight it all/ slow it down by nurturing the caring and rebellious spirits of the people. I think it's impossible for them to ever completely win, because rebellion is a natural safety stop in a harsh environment.
Even though people have the dark side to human nature, most often have a good side too, even if it's hard to find. We can tune into that (like the manipulators try to use the bad side), and once found the good will never be lost in a person while they exist - people only ever become more understanding, I find. And there is some power behind the good side - the illuminati/whatever are a long way off from being able to open up without all the armies they're manipulating outright rebelling because things still have to be done in the name of good, rather than authority.
If good nature can infiltrate their ranks, it's only a matter of time until a significant chunk of the illuminati splinters off, rebels or tells all - these are still national governments able to protect themselves - like the british royal family could. And I'm sure that once they convince all, the worldwide and military rebellion would be so strong that other nations would protect and support.

It's possible that there are some outright evil ones, there's certainly ones that would take a lot of breaking down and direct personal suffering/hell before they began to change, some out of my reach, I haven't yet seen someone who I believed was total evil yet, but I've dealt with nasty people. I've seen the good inside a person can grow under the right type of pressure, but those people did have good that could be unlocked.
My theory is Jesus will reincarnate. But nobody will believe he is Jesus. He will be a good person and influence people through the power of good, people's love for him will contest authoritarian power and their loyalties will be tested. I don't know what the vatican is looking for, but they take the bible literally so I wouldn't be surprised if where they choose to focus is purely belief based. Outright evil souls - why would God allow them to continue to exist if they had no hope/ served no purpose? - Unless he himself was evil, or not capable of destroying them just yet. I suspect that there isn't an all powerful force of any kind, because human nature has 2 competing sides to it, and something influences either through one side or the other. If God is good, he may have control over the good elements and conciences within people who have them (the kingdom of heaven being in all?), but not have any power over the bad side, or people in the grip of genuine evil.
Miricles/ a light and sound show seem to be what set-in-their ways christians would seem to expect from their idea of Jesus - maybe why as you say a false christ would put on a show. I think it'd be the elements of good within people that'd recongnise the real Jesus just as good people can identify good in other people, so I think if Jesus comes, whether people recognise him/ whether they side for or against him would depend on the good/bad in themselves.
I agree, organised religions have no right in my view to represent God. I am antiauthoritarian and I don't like the structure or hierarchy that organised religions have, I think everyone should develop their own theories based on what they feel inside (because God's supposed to come from within anyway so I trust my own feelings over a book that may've been outdated or taken out of context anyway). I think the authoritarian nature of organised religions is a way for darker people to enforce authority, and I think when the bible's taken literally, and too black and white, people lose sight of the general principles behind the stories, and believe analogies are factual, and worship symbolism, and get too afraid for themselves and try to bend it to their own personal gain (i.e. of heaven).
But I am open to the idea of a God(s) existing, but I think things are not quite like they're painted

I agree and disagree with declaring this a national emergency. I agree because the flu is in its infant stages and 'may' get worse. I also disagree with it because this could end up being like the SARS incident and be nothing. Scaring the hell out of people is never the way to go when it comes to alerting the American public about a possible pandemic. That just seems to be the only way we learn or pay attention to things unfortunately
If it's a case of just scaring the hell out of us then he's doing nothing different than Bush did with the Kindergarten color coded terror charts 
As far as the vaccine, my ass ain't getting it. Its too new, untested and released too fast for my liking. I have a friend who gets his yearly flu shot and he gets sick for 3 weeks after the injection. At least the flu shot lives up to its name.....it gives you the flu lol. But like they say the money's in the research, not the cure.
Look folks its easy not to get the flu: cover your damn mouth when you sneeze, wash your hands, keep good hygiene, and avoid extremely crowed areas during the holidays. Not too difficult mainstream America. Hell we have enough cleaning and personal hygiene products in stores these days so no excuses lol.
