I use MW when i'm typing a long response because genius here (me) making typos all the time and mindsay doesn't catch them all lol. On my old computer word always screwed up but not on my new laptop......as often.
Hi clintsilver, Thanks for dropping in at my blog, sneaking in through the back door, and for giving me such a nice firm pat on the ass Boo.
Well I found a couple of different free word processors to try out, so maybe that will fix my problem.

Hopefully that'll help or it might be the blogging gods creating havoc for you everywhere....fuckers

Hi clintsilver, Thanks for sneaking in through the back door and giving me a nice firm pat on my ass Boo.
Well at least one of those programs is a wash as it seems to be in league with whichever tribe of Gremlins is plaguing me at the moment.
I made a series of in-consequential documents with AbiWord v 2.6 and in no tine a couple of those suckers were corrupted and would no longer open.
I'm starting to fear that the FEDS may have gotten to me and are deliberately sabotaging my stuff so that I cant rat out that that god damned KENYAN the way I want to.
Just in case that is the case I have backed up my stuff to CO and an going to start a serious virus search and destroy mission to see if I can root out what the heck ever it is that is causing my documents to become corrupted like that.
I may have to go the destructive route and reload me entire OS to cure the problem. God I hope not as that is a real pain in the ass Boo.
How you been doing anyway Boo? You got everything ready for turkey day yet?

Hi bahamat, Thanks for dropping in at my blog, sneaking in through the back door, and for giving me such a nice firm pat on the ass Boo.
Thanks, I just downloaded that one and am giving it a try now. But I really want to find out what the heck has caused my MS word thing to start fucking up.

You're welcome
I stopped using internet explorer a few years ago for the same reason, but it got better more recently when I had problems with firefox and had to resort back. I think sometimes there's badly written updates that automatically download themselves. I think microsoft also tends to program things very large and unnessessarily complex (look at the system spec of office or vista) - and there's a lot to go wrong. I think a lot of crashes happen because of an information overload, like when too much is going on for the computer to handle.
If there is some sort of spyware on your machine though, there are non-microsoft programs supposedly capable of finding them, if it helps. I have a free one called adaware (free stuff tends to be better made I think bcause it's by genuine enthusiasts without commercial interests)

Hi bahamat, Thanks for sneaking in through the back door and giving me a nice firm pat on my ass Boo.
I use several of the Freeware thingies to clean my system and I use a couple of online help forums to help me with removing the really nasty stuff.
I need to give this PC a good going over and see if there is some sinister reason that MS Word has started scrambling my .wps documents like it has been doing here of late.
