You're forgetting you history Dear... 30- 40 some odd years ago, in a far away, small, third world country, they employed children - MUCH younger than 15 or 16 - to fight their battles... quite effectively I might add... along with the elderly and infirm.

How dare you insult my brain smarts! *laughing* Of course I remember that history lesson, we had just came back from a field trip on Juvember the thirty third, I remember it quite clearly.
YOU, forgot that I come from a military family huh Boo? No I haven't forgotten any of my history, but what I learned about that stuff I learned from men who were ducking lead back in the day.
During the Vietnam conflict, aka "The American War" there were one hell of a lot of what we call children, that were fighting and dying, on the battle fields in their country.
Several of my kin have lamented having had to kill kids as young as the ones that they had left at home, women, and men old enough to have have been their grand father.
Towards the end of WWII Germany started dragging in kids and old men. Not that they had to drag them, most of them fought because they loved their country.
Hell, go back into this countries history, say around the civil war days, and you will find that there was at least one full fledged battle fought, and I'm thinking maybe even won *not sure about the won part though* by KIDS, the oldest of whom I believe might have been fifteen, that had been pressed into battle from a military academy.
Um? Have I about remembered where it was Boo?
"Yes" one can condemn the "whole" for the actions of "a few", when, in fact, those "few" are actually the "Majority" of the populous in any given region, like say the entire country of Persia, or even just in the local area of Tehran Iran.
Now I want to ask, how the heck is that relevant to what is going on today? I mean how do you draw a comparison between an honorable enemy like the Germans, or the Vietnamese and the murderous Arabs of today?
Haven't you seen those grinning Arab mothers, screaming, and bewailing the loss of their son because he blew his dumb ass up one minute, then smiling with glee as they collected their twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00 US) dollar cash reward, and all the while they're pushing their next son out in front of themselves, and screaming about how he's going to be next "to take revenge" on the Jews?

As you can see from the "By Line" at the top of the post, and form the "Here" link at the bottom of the post, I didn't write it, and I'm not trying to take credit for writing it Boo.
I just re-posted something that someone who is closer acquainted with the situation has researched, and written about Boo.
I don't really care about an Arab one way or another, however, if you look into what that guy has written, with an open mind, it should cause you to go "Hum?"
So did you check out any of those links in that post?" Links, I might add, that I so painstakingly went out of my way to make sure would work so that people could read up on this stuff a bit.

OK, that story was written by David Wilder for
"The Jewish Community of Hebron", I'm presuming that is a news paper, on November 15, 2004.
You're correct, they made no distinction between the Arabs of the middle east, United States, or any other location.
I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here, and figuring that the reason for that is because they are writing about the people in the country where they live. I don't really know though.

Well, that just kind of grabbed me when I stumbled across it. I think it was the cat analogy that did it.
I thought about it, and read some more articles about the subject, and realized that a lot of what it is talking about is really true.
I kind of compare it to the Democrat/Republican thing here in the United States.
I mean, Democrats are always saying gimme, gimme, gimme, and the Republicans are going along with it, and giving in to almost every damned thing that the Democrats are demanding.
OK, now hasn't Israel given in to what the world has asked them for? Haven't they given up a lot to try to make peace with all of those Arabs?
And aren't the Arabs involved in all of that over there still screaming gimme, gimme, gimme?
I think it's pretty obvious that the only thing that will ever appease either the Democratic Political Party, or the Muslim/Arab world, in it's entirety, is going to be the total destruction, and annihilation of their foe, be it a Republican, or an Israelite.
