You are much more than a man you are a hero.

I am a white guy from the south .
I have never had to face racism..
So I would be lying if I said I  completely understand what  African  Americans  have had to deal with over the years.
 
However I will say this .
I understand the words that the  great  Martin Luther King Jr. spoke.
He spoke about  love  and peace
He spoke about accepting one another .
He spoke the truth .

He was a man with  nothing but love in his heart .
He let people beat and spit on him and he just turned the other cheek.
He was much more than a man he was someone special .

He changed the world for better .
We have came a long way in this world.
We still have  a  lot further to go .

However if we today can just have in our hearts half of what Martin Luther King Jr.  had .
Then we can make the world better as well .
So as a white guy from the south I just want to say thank you  Mr. King .
You are much more than a man you are a hero.
