Not only Christians, my dear, not only,...all the religious people in the world...all the same, believe me!!  They dare tell us what to do, and we wouldn't even dream of telling them," don't go to church, or don't say your prayers"!

But you know, they have God on their side, so they can do what the hell they want! .. as a shield, as you say! and don't worry, there is no Hell! It is just a way society has found to keep people in the straight path...by keeping them afraid.

Well, kind of.  I see what you're saying -- that the phenomenon of people being religious zealot assholes isn't just monopolized by Christians.  But I don't think that "all the religious people in the world" are to blame here. There are many folks who subscribe to religion who don't try to impose their moral code on others. Even so-called Christians.

Anyway -- I'm not really one to talk because I'm a self-proclaimed asshole myself.

and I know that not all religious people are bad, I even know one or two that are good. genuily good, but religion has nothing to do with that,they would have been good even if they were boudhist, or pygmmes.or Mormons..

the only person who can judge you is God. Dont let anyone else tell you otherwise. I dont judge people or tell them they're going to hell just cause what people do may not be right all the time. But that's ok, you're allowed to make your own choices and mistakes. such as life.

Well said... I've had my fill of judgmental Christians as well... I guess I've come to terms with it by realizing that they're not really Christians, in that they don't follow Jesus's teachings (hello - 'judge not, lest ye be judged?) But they don't seem to get it... It's definitely frustrating!

Personally, I don't believe in all this heaven or hell mumbo jumbo, your heaven or hell is what you make of it here and now, while you're still living on this planet.

BUT, if there is a Hell, I'll probably be there with many of my friends!
