off the top of my head i'd either pick Sunny Day Real Estate's "Diary" or John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme". though, if i put more thought into it, i'd most likely pick something else.
I'd have to say Eno's "Here Come The Warm Jets" is a good choice, also "Before and After Science" - then there's "Remain In Light" by Talking Heads. "Overnite Sensation" "We're Only In It For The Money" or "Hot Rats" by Zappa and the Mothers. Going down a different track I'd say "15 Wild Decembers" by Geoff Smith was also a good one to nominate. But surely a "Perfect Album" would vary from individual to individual. Those choices I have given directly reflect my musical tastes and as everyone has different subjective musical preferences surely there can be no one perfect album for all, just a perfect album for each of us? (and I aknowledge that Plastics perfect album is given the qualifier "according to plastic" I'm just thinking aloud forgive me for rambling)
