It takes a few seconds to load for me too, ha! And I have a cable connexion.

When I first moved some stuff over, Mom was here.  Had I known she would be here this often, I might not have taken the place.  The housemate has lots of health issues and I think the family manages that and allows him to live "on his own" by conducting regular in-person checks on him.  When mom is here, she cooks and (I'm guessing) pays the bills.  Interestingly, when she is here she doesn't clean his space or make him do it.  It took me a coupla months to figure out that if I wanted the common areas clean, I had to take care of them, so I do.  I am slowly working on getting him to clean up his space and on changing his diet.  Having mom here interrupts the processes and moves things backward a bit (he is a diabetic, she brings pastry and candy and favors a meat-heavy diet) - which is part of why I am so ticked she is here. 

Craxy E is crazy, but I can usually manage her insanity and she's always good for a class of wine or two.

some people just don't get it about the diet thing..

the mother just got back from the store with two more pastries.  It occurs to me that maybe she is trying to kill him.  This way she'd never be charged with murder.

Goes with the territory.  I do have the option of spending time at my crazy friend's house or otherwise out.  And I can just burrow in my own space, but doing that feels like having been jailed  after a while.

Usually when the mom comes, he has spent a coupla weeks visiting her and she returns with him for a week or so.  She showed up on her own this time, so maybe he will leave with her and I will have the place to myself for a while.  Probably not.  If she stays til Thanksgiving, you will be reading about my jump from the GG Bridge.

Was that actually decided and funded?  There's no barrier as of yesterday.

Frankly, if people want to jump off bridges, I think that's their right...

I kinda hate it when any ones mother comes into town. No offense to their mothers, but they tend to get annoying after awhile just because they pick apart how clean/dirty things are, or how you arent eating properly and stuff lol.

I wish this one's mother WOULD comment on the dirt and make him clean up!
